The Minimizer's SW Cartoons
A while ago, I had a great idea: let's do a cartoon called "Zero Heroes" about a tiny superheroine living in a city filled with misfit supers, each with their own weird name and power. Surely nothing but hilarity would ensue! I even made a go at doing this as a kind of regular daily or even weekly cartoon, but you know what? Funny ideas aren't as easy to come up with as you think, and certainly not if you have to force yourself to find them. Eventually, a lot of the humor went away and what you ended up with was more of an ongoing comic than a cartoon. Not that this is all bad, but if I want to do a comic, I'll do a comic.
I also drew this thing with inks, not pencils. (Well, I started with pencils, but you get the idea.) And it turns out I loathe inking. So forget that idea. At least I got to try some different pens and shadows and so forth, but I never really found the right combination.
Anyway, that doesn't mean I won't come up with more good cartoon ideas in the future, so I'll leave this page up in case I think of something else funny enough to share. In the meantime, enjoy the few cartoons I got around to doing...
