WHO'S WHO IN THE SW COMMUNITY!
Several years ago, when I was still new to the Internet, I was goofing around one afternoon and absently typed in "shrink woman" on Yahoo's browser. I didn't really expect to find anything, but to my surprise, several links showed up under the category "Sexuality -- Activities and Practices -- Microphilia." What the hell was microphilia? I had no idea, so I clicked on one of the links. Up popped a picture of a tiny babe in a polka-dot bikini, cradled in someone's giant hand. Atop the site ran the words, "Incredible Shrinking Women." My jaw dropped.
As I read further I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There were actually other people out there who shared the same enjoyment of shrinking women as I did! Anxiously I explored the site, and devoured every link it pointed to. These were the days when The Reducer had his wonderful site, Dr. Cyclops' Lab was still young, and Giant Rescue Team was still being updated.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I wasn't alone!
However, I was still a babe in the woods as far as this stuff goes. I started reading the forums, but they were nowhere near as active as they are today, so I only checked them occasionally. I never posted, afraid to "break the ice" and stick my head into what looked like a pretty exclusive club. It was a long time before I took the plunge and actually uploaded a collage. Once I finally managed to get it to show up on the forum, it met with immediate acceptance, and because of that I wish I'd posted sooner.
Part of the reason I kept to myself is I didn't really know who anyone was. The people out there talked to each other like they were old friends, so I felt uncomfortable butting in on their conversation. Well, since this was the wrong attitude, I want to help out any other people like me (lurkers who are nervous about contributing) by putting forth a page of introductions. That's why this page exists. Hopefully, after reading about the people listed here, you'll feel more comfortable about joining us. And, if you do contribute and get some comments, you'll know who it is who's appreciating your work!
These "bios" were all written by the person in question. I didn't attempt to create any on my own so as to not violate anyone's privacy. If you want to be listed, email your description to me. You don't have to be a frequent contributor or poster, just a fellow SW-lover. You don't have to give me any more information than you're comfortable with, either. And if you want to keep your information to yourself, that's fine, too!

Favorite SW type: Drawings, comics and sequences usually accompanied with scandely clad or naked females. I usually like to see a shrunken woman next to a regular sized female. I am also a big fan of GTS, but not the Violent or Mega GTS stuff.
Forum persona: A mild-mannered lawyer who runs into the bathroom and transforms into the Cheesecake Master at the mere mention of evil doings. Dawning his crown, robe and scepter (all entirely made out of cheesecake) he bounds off into the night to foil the plans of evil-doers with his pacifist ways (these usually consist of him offering the villian cheesecake, hitting the bad person with cheesecake, or letting the villian kill him. In about every fight he has tried to stop, the Cheese Cake Master ends up being killed and his ghost haunts the evil-doer with old show tunes, but somehow he manages to come back to life, I don't know how he just does). When growing up in the ghetto he learned the ability to break dance and the locals named him the Break Dancing Cracker. He likes to travel around to bars and entertain everyone with his dance moves and horrible disco songs. Oh wait, nevermind, I have never visited the forum. Weiiiiiiird.
Other Notes: I was very suprised when I found out so many people like shrinking women. I just figured this out a few months ago, and before this time I always thought there was something wrong with me. Well, oh course there are several things wrong with me but, at least I have one less problem, WHO-HA! Minimizer, I love the scetches and the comics, keep em' coming!

OK...Favorite type of SW Owner: I would have to say that my story, "Christy" prolly best reflects the type of SW owner I would like. Sweet, soft, and very considerate. I don't really like the rough stuff, nor do I like being an object, so even though a few of my stories are written in those fashions, it is not because I like it, but because I know there is a large audience that does.
Forum Persona: To be honest...I don't really have one...I post just like I am...I sometimes post things that don't make me very popular, but..well...That's just life, I guess...I suppose you could say I prefer being "A Nonny Mouse." :) If put up to it, I guess I could say that I tend to have a playful nature. I just end up being so busy, I don't get a chance to express it much!

Favorite Type of SW: ANYTHING done in a SEQUENCE! I just love seeing or reading a story about a woman gradually getting smaller, preferably shrinking out of clothes...rapidly is nice too sometimes. The pre-shrunk variety is fine, too. Ah, hell, I like 'em all! Brunettes are my favorite, though.
Forum Persona: Laid-back--if somewhat deranged--half-wolf/half-man. Leans more heavily toward mad science as opposed to magic (hence the "Lab" name on the site.) Tends to hurl large, sticky gobs of praise at work he appreciates on the board. Also possessed of an offbeat sense of humor and several mid-level neuroses.

Forum persona: A mischievous sprite who likes poking her cute little nose into virtually everything, including artists who are TRYING to get their work done (chuckle). When someone does something she doesn't like, she can annoy them with magic bolts of energy, which usually gets her tossed into the "Gilded Cage" for a time-out. She has an amulet that turns her into a normal-sized, wingless woman, thus allowing her to maintain a secret identity in the real world. Needless to say, she is very protective of this artifact.

Forum Persona: A mysterious figure, wrapped in the chill of a tomb, who likes Doritos. I die quite frequently, only to return a few months later. I like to stay in the shadows, watching, and commenting when I feel the need. The name is much more serious than I ever thought of being, and I'm more than willing to lend a hand or a good word to anyone who might ask.

With the control he had over the women he shrunk and the ability to make them do whatever he wanted, he was able to get over his shyness. One day, he met a girl who was very attractive indeed, both in personality and appearance. Unsure as to how to approach her (his shyness gone, but his approach needed work), he shrunk her. He gathered her up and brought her home. Once she awaked, he was surprised to find she was not at all angry for what he had done to her, but estatic because it was a dream come true for her. They spent much time together and, having fallen deeply in love, later married. At her request, he grew her to 15" and continued collecting "dolls", with his wife as the collection's liason and mistress. An inch easily becomes a mile *grin*. Imagine my delight when he said "my fantasy is a little odd, but may I shrink you?" I think he expected me to slap him or something. *giggle* I was more then game, and I've never been the same again.
Early Influences: Yes yes, I was a Fay Wray wannabe! And "I Dream of Jeanie" always made me feel so jealous. I wanted to live in a bottle, too! I wanted to sneak around bookshelves and across desks. When I was in private school, I remember sitting in church (every single morning, *sigh*)....daydreaming about being so small I could hide behind the pillars, or scurry under pews. Or so tiny I could crawl under desks and sneak food out of other kids' lunches from the cloak room. Forum persona: I'm Lastcall 41, 41 being the age and number I needed to use to establish a name that was not in use on the Internet. That was two years ago. I also started my web page two years ago. I had been lurking prior to that.
Background Info: What a joy when one night in 1996 when I first got online to type "giantess" into a search engine because I tried "Little Women", etc. and came up with nothing, to find a page with giant women. I couldn't believe it. Then later through the Giantess links, I found Shrinky 428. Wholla, I was home and began lurking! I enjoyed the work of Shrinky, Giant Rescue Page, Altered Ratios and Dream Country. The Reducer (of Reducer's Realm) was the first person that had the guts to come out openly about who he was and what he liked. I admired that and wrote to him. He gave me the courage to stop lurking and to build my own page. (I still don't have the courage to come out with my real identity, but I felt I should contribute to this great community.) Therefore my page "The Little Woman" is made up of collages of my favorite subject, little women, being held and played with by others (see above link).
Real Life Notes: I have been interested in this fantasy since I was eleven (the time I became sexually attracted to women). It was Fay Wray being held by the original 1933 King Kong that got me turned on. Since then I always searched for movies or TV shows with shrunken women or giants in them. For the most part I have been disappointed by sloppy, cheap special effects. To further pursue my fantasy, I got out the ole' Sears and J.C. Penney catalogs and cut out pictures of women and put them on my dresser or hold them and fantasize. I soon discovered my sister's Barbie and Dawn dolls and used them as a medium for this fetish. Needless to say this was a deep dark hidden secret and I felt like some sort of pervert for many years. When I started dating I soon found out that the women in my life thought that this was absurd, perverted etc. Consequently they left me. This further cemented the idea that I was a "weirdo." But, now, I have come forth with my page. And, to my chagrin, and the dismay of some women, I still tell them about this fantasy. I have to admit that it is a big part of my life that I can not deny. So I must share it in order to be happy. I used to go to church and for many years not only considered it a sin, but I tried everything from fasting and prayer to suppress or deny my desires. No more! It is a wonderful harmless fantasy that I encourage everyone who is lurking to come out here, in our community and share and enjoy it.

Contribution types: Well, it's mostly a few stories, "Saving Space" being the only one that actually got done. Some art in the clubs and now hopefully some collages as I have always yearned to try my hand (pun intended) at shrinking some women.
Favorite type of SW: I have to admit to liking all types, but if I have to be specific; I love Barbie sized women up to about two feet. I also find that a SW is more sexy fully clothed. Also a little fear and danger is good but a "HOT" SW is always better, if you get what I mean! ;) I also tend to gravitate more towards dark haired and Asian women...yum!

Forum persona: I'd say semi-semi lurker, writing hack, and poor SW artist, but that's no fun. Here's a better one... Shinji Ikari, tired of dealing with normal people who intimidate him, decides to try his hand with SW, after discovering it on the Internet. After ututilizing NERV's vast resourses, he discovers numerous ways to conduct his fantasies and does so. However, he finds out that just because they're smaller, doesn't mean they're any less intimidated by him. In fact, Shinji stills finds himself cowering under the berating of the several SWs he keeps at his place. Sailor Jupiter, in particular, seems to enjoy yelling at him the most. The search for a way to enlarge the women, and to get rid of them, continues...
Other notes: If you do not know who Shinji Ikari or Sailor Jupiter are, check out Neon Genesis Evangelion and Sailor Moon, respectively, two popular anime shows worldwide. Then wonder why I chose Shinji Ikari, of all people, as my moniker.

Forum Persona: Basically right now just a lurker, kind of the Rod Serling type, letting the SW and her captor (usually another woman) be the main characters. My SW's are usually rotten, selfish people who hopefully learn some lessons in humility from their shrunken experience.
Other: I started my fantasy drawings back in 1981, usually pictures of genies and shrunken women done wih #2 pencils in notebooks. One day my parents found my drawings in my desk drawer; shortly after that, they started to sleep in shifts. Just like Minimizer, I too put in "shrinking woman" in a search engine, and was surprised to find 37 websites devoted to this
phenomena. I so glad to know that I'm not alone in my obsession with this type of fantasy. Oh and PS: SciDram's "Laundry Day" is THE BEST SW story I've ever read!!

Forum Persona: I'm a really big fan of science fiction and a Tomb Raider fan as well, and usually you will see that my SW stories are a combination of SCI-FI/SW in nature. I try to shrink poor Lara Croft when she isn't on one of her expiditions raiding tombs. I've had the pleasure of also shrinking Councelor Troy by hacking the transporter system and having her materialize at only 6" tall. I had fun jury-rigging a medical scanner to where it would send out a beam that shrank Dr. Beverly Crusher. My next target is the infamous 7 of 9 on Voyager...but being part Borg it's hard to get a good fix on her target, her Borg implants jam my signals to my shrink ray.

Favorite SW: 3" - 18". SWatteR enjoys a good chase/hide and eventually capture. Not really too sadistic but likes to see what's under the garment. Handheld examinations are important to verify the authenticity of the SW. Imprisonments are usually in a cage or mason jar. String or tape may be necessary to subdue the subject. Will provide running water and meals though.
